TEAM Spotlight John Thabes – TEAM Bagley
John Thabes was born and raised in Bagley, MN. John received his degree from Northland College in Natural Resources. He spent a decade in this field, gaining invaluable experience and honing his skills. John’s desire for knowledge led him to a degree in gunsmithing. This decision led he and his wife Emily back to his roots in Bagley, where his machining fundamentals would be put to new opportunities.
In October 2012, John started work at TEAM as a forklift operator. His unwavering commitment and tireless work ethic caught the attention of his peers and superiors alike. Swiftly rising through the ranks, he transitioned to become a prototype machinist, which is a role that has allowed him to tackle challenging projects.
What ignites John’s passion at TEAM? It’s the thrill of working on rescue projects. Projects that are critical endeavors that make a tangible impact. Whether modifying parts or creating machine fixtures, John enjoys the opportunity to contribute to real-world solutions. But it doesn’t end there. For him, the true joy lies in self-improvement. Every challenge becomes an opportunity to expand his knowledge, push boundaries, and redefine what’s possible.
